In the absence of several elements, winners in Amiens with the first team (0-1) or forced to withdraw due to injury, Razik Neder introduced an innovation in the kick-off. The Greens coach in particular has established Abdul Maiga, a training midfielder, in his central axis. Cheikh Fall and Jebril Sahrawi, members of the 2005 generation, also found their place in the rejuvenated starting line-up.

Changes that did not disturb the Greens in their meeting. With 20 minutes played, Ahmed Sidibé came very close to finding the back of the net but saw his header deflected back. A first alarm that called for another. Shot into the area, El-Hadji Dieye saw his effort cleared at the feet of Edmilson Correia, who opened the scoring (Domera 0-1 ASSE, 19e). The Greens forward then came very close to doubling the stakes just before the break, as did Abdoulaye Sidibe whose header went just over the bar.

Back in the locker room, the Stéphanois continued their momentum. If Domérat was a bit more dangerous, ASSE is effective. With a shot launched at the entrance of the opponent’s area, Edmilson Correa scores a double (Domera 0-2 ASSE, 57th). And if Boubacar Faull kept his clean sheet, his Auvergne counterpart conceded for the third and final time on a fine strike from the incoming Kenzo Kies (Domera 0-3 ASSE, 85e). With this success, the third in a row, the reserve strengthens. If they have a game more than their opponents in the standings, however, the Greens are top of their group at the end of that day.

C'est une réelle performance.

We have a few players starting to get minutes with the reserves, underlines Razik Neder. These are young players who have been able to respond to the present and that is what I want to remember. With a changing team we manage to maintain consistency in our matches. This is a real performance which proves that our players are working well at the moment. The boys, who have been on deck since July, are now entering the school holidays. We’ll let them rest. After the break, a big game awaits us. We want to make a series of three successes, even four if we count the friendly match with Marseille, motivates everyone.
