Prisco’s Week 12 NFL picks: Cowboys, Bills beat opponents on Thanksgiving; Titans get revenge on Bengals

The end happened. I had a good week in all three areas of game selection.

I went 4-2 with my best bets as part of the Pick Six podcast, 11-3 straight up and 7-5-2. CBSSports.com experts’ choice.

This brings my best betting record to 38-25-2, which makes me happy. The straight up record is now 95-69 and the ATS record is 74-82-8. The latter should climb above .500, so that’s the goal for the next few weeks.

Let’s hope the holiday week goes well for me, starting with a Thanksgiving sweep in games featuring teams with some impressive records.

Thursday, 12:30 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Favorite game | Detroit Lions vs. Buffalo Bills

This allows for a game with a lot of offense. Both teams can score, but the Bills can really score. They put a big number here Josh Allen won the second game in Detroit after the win Browns last week in the same building. The road is fast and the bills can fly. Lions do not follow.

Choose: Bills 40, Lions 23

Thursday, 4:30 ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants

The Giants are coming off a horror show at home against the Lions, which means they may have been looking forward to this game. “Cowboys” won the match and made things right Vikings. The defense was dominant and will be dominant here. The Giants are too limited offensively.

Choose: Cowboys 31, Giants 14

Thursday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Minnesota Vikings vs. New England Patriots

The Vikings were embarrassed at home on Sunday and the Cowboys were beaten. They bounce back and play better here. New England’s offense is struggling, but the defense is playing well. However, I think the Vikings will have the offensive response to win it. The Patriots offense is bad.

Choose: Vikings 24, Patriots 14

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos

It’s a dog game of the week with two fearsome offenses. First 10 wins? Denver’s defense is better, but I think the Panthers will find a way to win at home. Denver continues to struggle.

Choose: Panthers 17, Broncos 13

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs have their first bye and seem poised to have the season they’ve been hoping for. Their health is getting better and that will be important from now on. The Browns are bad defensively, so look for it Tom Brady to have a good day. The Browns running game is limited. Bucks will get it.

Choose: Bucks 30, Brown 17

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Favorite game | Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens

The Jaguars have a bye with a tough home game against the Ravens. Baltimore’s defense has come alive in recent weeks and will be a real test Trevor Lawrence. Lamar Jackson and the offense should get it. It’s going to be a low score, but it’s close.

Choose: Ravens 21, Jaguars 20

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Favorite game | Miami Dolphins vs. Houston Texans

The Dolphins come out of the bye as heavy favorites. The Texans might change a football player, but that doesn’t matter. The Dolphins have been explosive on offense all year and that will never change. Tua Tagovailoa turns it into a punch.

Choose: Dolphins 36, Texas 14

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Favorite game | New York Jets and Chicago Bears

It will not be beautiful, if Justin Fields can’t play. Both crimes are subject to strict penalties. The Jets have a much better defense that is poised to dominate. Whoever referees these two, that’s the difference.

Choose: Plane 20, Bear 14

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Favorite game | Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals

It’s a rematch of last January’s playoff game, where the Bengals upset the Titans on the road. The Bengals have played much better of late, but they will be playing back-to-back road games, and the Titans will be rested after playing last Thursday. Derrick Henry he wasn’t himself when they played in the playoffs last season. He is now. The Titans get it behind his running back.

Choose: Titans 27, Bengals 21

Sunday, 1 p.m. ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Washington Commanders vs. Atlanta Falcons

It’s kind of a playoff game. Both teams are alive. Washington turned the season around thanks to its defense. Taylor Heinicke also performs on time. The Falcons are limited offensively, that’s the difference. Washington remains hot.

Choose: Chiefs 27, Falcons 17

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Favorite game | Arizona Cardinals and Los Angeles Chargers

The Cardinals losing was terrible 49ers in Mexico and now playing for their playoff hopes. Chargers are losing money Bosses, but they showed some life offensively in that game. It goes on like this Justin Herbert have a big day.

Choose: Chargers 30, Cardinals 20

Sunday, 4:05 p.m. ET (CBS, Paramount+)

Favorite game | Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are on the bye and the Raiders are playing their second straight game. Bad combination. The Raiders have major defensive issues that they will face against a good offense in Seattle. Geno Smith and the Seahawks will get it.

Choose: Seahawks 31, Raiders 24

Sunday, 4:25 ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Rams

Rams are chaotic and bosses ride high. The Rams have health issues and they don’t Matthew Stafford. This is the problem. Bosses have it Patrick Mahomes and he will carve up this Rams defense. Exploded city.

Choose: Chiefs 37, Rams 13

Sunday, 4:25 ET (Fox, FuboTV)

Favorite game | San Francisco 49ers and New Orleans Saints

The 49ers are coming off a great win over the Cardinals in Mexico. They appear to be rolling with all their weapons in the attack. The Saints beat the Rams last week Andy Dalton plays well. I think they will hang around in this game because the 49ers are on a short week. It’s closer than expected.

Choose: 49ers 24, Saints 20

Sunday, 8:20 p.m. ET (NBC, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Philadelphia Eagles vs. Green Bay Packers

The Packers’ playoff chances are barely alive, but it’s a real challenge to try and keep them alive. Aaron Rodgers Didn’t play well last week, but I think he’ll play well here. The Eagles haven’t looked great in the last two games. The Packers will keep him close.

Choose: Eagles 26, Packers 21

Monday, 8:15 p.m. ET (ESPN, FuboTV)

Favorite game | Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Colts looked on their way to going 2-0 on Jeff Saturday last week, but came up short against the Eagles. The Steelers hung around against the Bengals together Kenny Pickett looks better on a defender. The Steelers defense is much better TJ Watt back, and I think that front will keep the Steelers in this game.

Choose: Colts 20, Steelers 19
